Health coaches educate and support clients to transition from a dependence on the medical and pharmaceutical tradition of disease-care, to a self-directed, scientific, holistic, and lifelong healthcare strategy.

 

The goal of health coaching is to empower clients to upgrade their health status through actions and behaviors that support the body’s innate systems for healing and repair.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
MY DOCTOR AND MY HEALTH COACH?

Health coach’s offer personalized, one-to-one guidance,  to help you achieve your specific health and lifestyle goals. Much deeper than diet or fitness guidance, these action-based programs integrate recent studies in biological research, with scientifically proven holistic methods, giving you simple, yet transformative tools and tasks to upgrade your overall wellbeing.

 

In contrast, medical doctor’s offer diagnostic methods of disease-treatment, with a focus on site-distinct disorders.  Remedies target symptom relief, with an emphasis on prescription drugs and surgeries. Health coaches can work directly with, or in parallel with medical doctors, to help you to address the root causes of illness, including the prevention and reversal of chronic diseases.

Health coaching programs meet you where you’re at, and guide you to where you want to be. Different then the doctor/patient tradition, health coaches meet regularly with clients, co-creating an exclusive, bio-individual program of education, experimentation, and action, designed to encourage behavior changes, and produce optimal health.

ABOUT HEALTH COACHING?

The training unfolds over a six-month program, where we meet online twice a month. At the onset, you'll share your health history, and define your health goals and known hurdles. During our sessions, we reduce those goals to manageable steps, by deepening the dialogue to excavate awareness, educating as necessary, and offering various pathways for you to experiment and practice between sessions.

 

This is an experiential process, and it’s effective because it’s based on action and feedback. We work together to establish the most favorable behaviors required to accomplish your health priorities. As collaborators, our sessions together include uncovering the subconscious, environmental, or cultural barriers that may be blocking your adoption of healthy practices. That depth of investigation, with all the emotional, historical, and deeply individual circumstances revealed, is a scientifically proven pathway toward foundational change, and an accessible formula in support of your body’s capacity to reach maximum health.

 

Health coaching succeeds because it's possible to leverage your body’s biological mechanisms to establish sustainable, lifestyle habits that reverse symptoms, prevent disease, postpone aging, and achieve whole-body health and happiness, throughout your lifespan.
